Coatings & Insulation Built for Arizona

Coatings

Custom Polyurea

We worked directly with the manufacturer to develop a fire-resistant polyurea that will hold up to Arizona summer heat.  What's more, for commercial roofs, we will take a sample and develop a custom formulated primer to ensure proper adhesion to your specific roof. Our polyurea is a fast curing, spray applied protective coating used to waterproof, seal, and protect surfaces. It is commonly used for roofs, foundations, chemical containment structures, industrial structures, and just about everywhere else you don't want corrosion to occur - like your septic tank.   This is where we got the idea to use it on our aluminum trailer to stop the barnyard acids from corroding it, while providing  extra padding to the floor.   Due to the nature of it being spray applied, there are no seams or cracks where urine can penetrate and damage the trailer. This makes cleaning significantly easier, while extending your trailer life.

Insulation

Closed Cell Spray Foam

Closed Cell Spray Foam is a high density, rigid insulation material that expands to fill gaps, cracks, and cavities much like its open cell variant. But the similarities stop there.  Unlike open cell, closed cell spray foam is structural, water resistant, and much denser, making it the preferred foam for places like barns, outbuildings, shops, exterior walls, crawl spaces, foundations, and flat topped roofs. It offers an R-Value of 7.0 per inch thick, and we can spray as thick as you want. When sprayed this mixture does not expand nearly as much as its brother and has a density of around 2.2 lb/cubic foot, making it ideal for roofs especially when sealed with polyurea, giving roofs a 20-30 year lifespan.

Silicone

Silicone is the workhorse of Arizona flat and low-slope roofs. It's a high-solids coating that cures into a seamless, rubber-like membrane that shrugs off the two things that kill roofs here: relentless UV and ponding water. Where other coatings chalk, crack, and break down in the sun, silicone stays flexible and watertight for years.

It's also highly reflective. A white silicone roof bounces sunlight instead of soaking it in, dropping roof surface temperatures dramatically and taking real load off your AC during the summer months.

We apply silicone directly over metal, foam, and most existing roof systems — no tear-off, no landfill fees, no weeks of disruption. When it eventually weathers, it recoats cleanly, making it the last roof system you'll need to think about.

Open Cell Spray Foam

Open Cell Spray Foam is a lightweight, low density and lower cost insulation material that expands to fill all gaps, cracks, and cavities. This is primarily an air sealing product offering excellent insulation, (greater than fiberglass) with an R-Value of 4.0 per inch thick. We can spray as thick as needed to achieve your desired result. When sprayed, the mixture quickly reacts and expands up to 100 times its liquid volume giving it a soft texture. It's called open cell because it has interconnected air pockets, is soft and flexible, while maintaining a volume of .4-.6 Lb/cubic foot.

Acrylic

Acrylic is the value play: a durable, highly reflective coating at a lower cost per square foot. It's water-based, spray-applied, and cures into a bright white finish that reflects the Arizona sun and keeps buildings noticeably cooler.

Acrylic performs best on sloped and metal roofs where water drains rather than ponds — barns, shops, ag buildings, and outbuildings are ideal candidates. It stays flexible through temperature swings, so it moves with your metal roof instead of cracking.

Maintenance is simple: when the coating weathers years down the road, we clean and recoat. No tear-off, ever. For big square footage on a budget, acrylic is hard to beat.
